My company have just revamped employment contracts and expect 85% to run hybrid (where they call whatever mix of home and office working appropriate for their role – at their own volition). There are a much smaller number requiring daily office attendance, and others that are completely remote based. Only difference is that remote do travel expenses from home, vs other types where it’s the shortest distance to destination from home or notional local office or hub.
